Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 11, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use limitpad, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they rely on.
Our goal
limitpad aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we’ve done
- The editor is a standard text box with a visible label, so it works with screen readers, voice control and browser spellcheck.
- Counts are announced to screen readers when you pause typing and whenever you cross a limit. You can turn announcements off in Settings.
- Going over a limit is shown with text and an icon, not colour alone.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, and keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text meets contrast requirements in light, dark and high-contrast modes, and the layout works at 400% zoom and on small screens.
- The site respects your system settings for dark mode, reduced motion and Windows high contrast.
- You can adjust the font size and switch to a font designed for readers with dyslexia.
How we test
Every page is checked automatically for accessibility problems before each release. We also test manually with VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), NVDA (Windows) and TalkBack (Android), and with keyboard-only and high-zoom use.
Known issues
We’re completing our pre-launch accessibility audit. Any issues it finds will be listed here with planned fixes.
Feedback
If anything on limitpad is hard to use, please tell us at hello@limitpad.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five business days.
